20 Minutes Test @ Trainer Road

De cateva zile, am semnat un parteneriat cu Trainer Road, urmand ca pe o periaoda nedeterminata sa devin ambasadorul lor (mai multe detalii despre ce acest soft, puteti gasi aici). Inainte de a alege unul dintre multele lor planuri de antrenament, trebuie facut un test, ce va stabili "Thereshold Heart Rate Value".


Astfel, cu aceste date stabilite, toate planuri de antrenament vor fi scalate dupa potentialul tau, in acest fel toate antrenamentele vor fi personalizate. In prima faza, nestiind exact cum functioneaza softul, n-am stiut ca trebuie sa aleg si tipul trainerului, asa ca am mers pe varianta default adica Beta 1Up USA CPR-A-2000 6 Pockets. Desi ai instructiuni pe monitor, n-am fost multumit de prima incercare a testului, asa ca dupa cateva zile, am mai incercat odata. Din nefericire pentru mine si de data asta am uitat sa setez trainerul meu, insa mi-am adus aminte pe la jumatatea antrenamentului si am decis sa-l continui asa. Am incercat o cadenta mai mica, insa cu o putere mai mare, lucru ce a facut ca Thereshold Heart Rate Value sa se stabileasca la 158. Putin. Foarte putin.


Description
Following a full 30 minutes of warm-up, a 20-minute time trial is used to assess Functional Threshold Power (FTP) & Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR).
This workout can also serve as a workout in its own right and will target muscular endurance and effective pacing over a somewhat extended duration.
Use any cadence that suits you, but if you're pedaling slower than 80rpm it's in your best interest to increase your cadence over the course of your training.

Goals
By following a strictly structured assessment protocol, riders can assess/reassess possible changes in fitness at any time of training season as long as they're rested and motivated.
Try to allow full recovery prior to performing an assessment workout by scheduling it at the end of a recovery week or following 2-3 days of full rest and/or active recovery.
